New Toppan Cosmo, Inc. - Evolution of Toppan's Industrial Materials Division
Beginning on July 1st, 2005, Toppan’s Industrial Materials division took a step forwards. Together with their subsidiary company, we became a new entity. The new company has combined sales in excess of US$1 billion and carries the name TOPPAN COSMO, INC. It will remain a 100% subsidiary of TOPPAN PRINTING CO., LTD.
Toppan Cosmo, Inc. maintains the capacity as a professional printer and supplier of Toppan's high quality decorative surfacing materials for HPL and TFM laminates, furniture, kitchen cabinets, doors and other interior and exterior applications. We also provide various industries with the service as specialized trading company. The merchandise we deal with are finished and semi-finished furniture and components, machinery, industrial films, brochures, sample books, gift premiums and other general merchandise materials.
The integration strengthened global network of the new Toppan Cosmo, Inc., as well. In addition to the well-established network in Japan, we have sales and representative offices in North America, Europe, Far East and China and our own factory in Georgia, USA and joint venture companies in Indonesia. This global network enables Toppan Cosmo, Inc. to provide the market with unique services through global manufacturing and trading capabilities as one entity and we continue to seek more expansion in accordance with the rapid change and growth of the markets we serve.
Toppan Cosmo, Inc. inherits Toppan's commitment for the better environment. Eco-films and G-Effect woodgrain pattern printed papers with the most realistic embossed effect were shown at Toppan's booth at Interzum fair held in Germany in May 2005.
